v1.0.1 Released!

An update has been released to FSR that will hopefully solve a lot of installation issues as well as issues with adding sites.

Please note, though, that there will still be many problems because of the different hosting services everyone uses. Not all hosts support everything FSR requires, so make sure you check the requirements over carefully before choosing a hosting service. I will do my best to work out a solution that fits what you have.

The main change in this update is the way file paths are handled. You must now specify the absolute path to your HTML directory as well as to the directory in which FSR was installed. The easiest way to update FSR (if you haven’t already started configuring your sites and offers) is to simply clear the previous files and database, re-upload, and re-install. If you have already started working on your sites, you can upload the files directly over the existing ones, but you’ll need to make a few changes to some files. I will most likely need to assist you through this process, so contact me on AIM or e-mail support@fsrevolution.com.

The ability to add a site to the same domain on which FSR is installed now exists as well. Please note that this will count towards your site limit. You may either create the domain from scratch, or import from IRS or RAFS. Support for FSRS import is coming soon.

As always, please contact support if you have any problems. Please try to be as patient as possible, though, as there are many issues to work through, and I’m the only person available to provide support. :)

Thanks and good luck!
- Chris

Update on v1.0.1!

I think I’ve resolved a lot of the installation issues with FSR tonight. A lot of them I can’t control because they have to do with the particular hosting service you choose, but we can work through those on an individual basis.

I’ve also added the ability to add a site to the domain (new or imported) that FSR is installed on. The ability to automatically create remote domains is not built in yet, but will probably be in a version later on.

I’ve also fixed a number of bugs pertaining to offer management and user information.

I’m doing some final testing on these items, but look for an updated release (1.0.1!) later on today (Monday).

Switching Servers/Installation Issues

- I’m currently switching my hosting over to a host that will actually support my ioncube encoding process through phpAudit. As such, you may experience some downtime with your existing licenses. I’m trying to get my installation of phpAudit switched over to the new server as well, so I hope that will happen soon.

- Many of you have been experiencing a variety of installation issues. I’m going to be working all day today in order to get all of these resolved. Look for a new release late tonight, or perhaps tomorrow night, depending on how long it takes for my phpAudit license to get transferred over (as well as my ionCube one). Thanks for your patience!

Release Delayed

I hate to have to do this, but I’m going to have to push the release date back to Sunday night, the 17th. ionCube didn’t get back to me fast enough with my license, so I haven’t been able to encode the project. The vast majority of features are completed (including points site!), I’m essentially just now waiting on ionCube to release my license. As soon as that happens, I will be able to encode add upload the project for those that have purchased already to download. I will also have a new ordering system to go along with this that will allow you to download it directly from this site after you purchase it.

I apologize for the delay. I worked as hard as I could to get things ready by tonight, but it just didn’t happen. I, as much as you, wanted to release tonight.

Rest assured, though, as soon as is possible, the script will be released. Watch this website for the announcement!

This also means that the pre-order price is good until Sunday! :)
