Happy Twenty-Ten!

Exciting things are ahead with FSRevolution as our future begins to take shape.  Just a few of the major items you will see this year include:

• FSR 2.0: slated for release This Summer!  A complete overhaul of the existing system which will maintain all of its current robustness, with a massive increase in speed, functionality, and usefulness.  You can still send in your suggestions for the new version to this e-mail address: requests@fsrevolution.com
• Hosted Solutions: we will begin offering hosting packages along with FSRevolution.  The software will be completely managed by us on our own server so updates and bug fixes will automatically be pushed to any site hosted with us as soon as they’re completed.  Other addons and features will also be available with our host that wouldn’t be possible on others.  Watch for details soon!
• Website Overhaul: our website will not only be undergoing a major facelift but the focus of our content will be changing.  While we will still be posting news and updates about FSRevolution, we will also start providing news and content related to internet marketing, specifically the incentivized marketing sector.  We want to start fostering discussions in our forums about current trends and what the future holds so that we can develop FSRevolution to be the best possible tool in managing your business and online presence.

A reliable affiliate: Revenue Universe

We often get asked what affiliate companies we recommend - Revenue Universe is typically the first one we respond with.  From the time FSR was launched, Revenue Universe has been around and completely compatible with our software.  We had a chance to speak with the owner of Revenue Universe (and The Free4Me Network), Peter Kasmin, and ask him a few questions.  Here’s what he had to say:

Our company has been in business since May 2005, and Revenue Universe
opened its doors in January 2006, so it’s been over 3 years now!

When we created our freebie site, we found it was extremely difficult
to find reliable sources for offers.  Many networks have vague
policies on incentive offers, or only had one or two, and many also
were reluctant to pay.  At this point there were no affiliate networks
that really concentrated on incentive offers, so we decided that it
was time to change that and became the first affiliate network to
specifically cater to incentive websites.

One of the major things our affiliates have constantly praised us
about is our reliability.  Since we opened, we have never had a late
or missed payment.  We constantly hear on others waiting for payments
from other networks, and sometimes it happens to us with advertisers,
but we pride ourselves in paying our affiliates on time no matter what
the circumstances are.  If someone is late in paying us, it is not the
affiliates fault and we understand that and still pay on time anyways,
which is not something that many other networks seem to believe these
days.  And of course the fact that we are the oldest incentive
affiliate network certainly sets us apart from the rest!

While we would love to offer our affiliates hundreds of offers, and
while we could, we don’t just throw any offer up.  We make sure that
the offer is worthwhile (not some offer that costs $60 and pays $10),
it has consistent reporting, and it allows incentives.  One thing we
have noticed very recently is many “incentive” affiliate networks have
been running non incentive offers, which in the long run can seriously
hurt their reputation and result in non payment, and that is something
that we will never risk.  No matter how good an offer is, if it does
not allow incentives we will not run it.

We have three dedicated affiliate managers who can be reached my
e-mail, AIM, or phone!  We strategically assign our affiliates to the
best suited manager that we believe will fit them.  For example, we
have one affiliate manager that exclusively deals with new freebie
sites to help them learn the ropes and understand the offers, and then
we have two more affiliate managers for the more experienced and
independent site owners.

Freebie sites should use Revenue Universe because we are reputable,
reliable, and have been around for over 3 years with no issues!

We’d just like to thank all of our affiliates for choosing to work
with us.  The incentive business is fast paced, turbulent, and ever
changing, and we are so glad that so many sites have continued to work
with us and make us the network we are today!

Cashback Site Addon

While we’re busy with the new version of FSR, we’ve decided to release a few addons to enhance the existing functionality of the current version while you wait!

We’re excited to release a new addon today that will convert the current Cashback site type into a TRUE cashback site. You can choose percentages of the amount a user spends to credit as opposed to a default cash amount. However, you can still fill in a default cash value to credit if you still want to offer a flat amount for an offer if you wish.

The addon is available for order here. We will need to install this addon manually for you, but there is no extra charge.

FSRevolution 2.0 Suggestions

We are ready and eager to start building the next version of FSR – 2.0!  We feel that with the current version line, a breaking point between the amount of features and the performance of the script has been reached.  We want to completely rebuild FSR from the ground up, and there’s no better way to start that process than by getting suggestions from you, the user.

If you’ve been using FSR for 2 years or 2 months, we want to hear from you on every aspect of your experience with FSR.  What features of FSR do you absolutely need to have?  What features can go?  How can we rethink how sites are structured and managed?  What about users?  What about affiliates, offers, and the crediting process? What are some current trends of the industry that aren’t handled by FSR?  How can your experience be made easier and more intuitive, but still maintain its robustness?

We want your answers on all of these questions and anything else you think will improve the next iteration of what will surely be the NEW industry standard.
