NewsFSRevolution v1.9 Sneak Preview
FSR v1.9 is scheduled for beta release tomorrow and we’re very excited about the admin panel’s fresh look! The updated interface will provide what we believe to be a more intuitive, pleasing user experience through the use of functional icons and buttons in conjunction with the powerful jQuery framework.
The majority of the forms have been redesigned and in some cases, broken up into discrete steps to improve clarity and efficiency. Adding an offer is now a less painful, 3-step process.
The user overview and site details pages have undergone a much needed transformation as well, and the new sections allow you to collapse/expand details as necessary.
This release will also contain a number of bug fixes, mostly related to the admin interface, but some related to functionality as well. Stay tuned for more details tomorrow!
FSRevolution v1.8.2 Update Released!
An update to FSRevolution, v1.8.2, has just been released, available immediately for download from your client area.
This release fixes some known bugs with adding certain site types as well as processing mass SQL files.
FSRevolution v1.8.1 Now Available
We are happy to announce that the latest stable update to FSRevolution, v1.8.1, has been released! Since this is a minor version update, there are mostly bug fixes and patches to make the overall system more stable, but a few new features are contained as well.
- Improved error handling for site addition
- Added header image uploading editing capability when editing a site
- Added per offer settings for “Allow Multiple Completions”, “Hide Upon Completion”, and “Allow Credit Requests”
- Added user and admin notification e-mails for when a referral has met their requirements
- Simplified postbacks into one file for all affiliates and improved credit exception reporting
- Fixed escaping/slashing quotes and multiple line breaks issues
- CSV/Postback ID is now referred to as Campaign ID and now accepts any value up to 64 characters
Clients with valid update packages should be able to download this update immediately from their client area! Please submit any bug reports or questions to support.
Demo Updated to v1.8.1 Beta
We’ve pushed our latest test version of v1.8.1 to our demo site and are finishing up some final tests before we release it to everyone. Here are a few of the fixes and changes being made in v1.8.1.

New Helpdesk Feature for Clients
Those clients with active support packages should now notice a new Helpdesk feature available within the client area. We are currently experimenting with this system, so feel free to use it if you have an issue and happened to be logged-in. We hope this system will allow us to provide faster responses to support tickets since it allows us to immediately attribute the case to a specific customer and we can pull up all of the relevant information regarding your accounts or license with ease.
This system would also allow us to over a variety of service level agreements for clients who need a specific kind of support (emergency, technical, or even customized). Please feel free to let us know your thoughts or ideas regarding this in the comments section!
