v1.0.1 Released!
September 26, 2006 on 1:31 pm | In News | 2 CommentsAn update has been released to FSR that will hopefully solve a lot of installation issues as well as issues with adding sites.
Please note, though, that there will still be many problems because of the different hosting services everyone uses. Not all hosts support everything FSR requires, so make sure you check the requirements over carefully before choosing a hosting service. I will do my best to work out a solution that fits what you have.
The main change in this update is the way file paths are handled. You must now specify the absolute path to your HTML directory as well as to the directory in which FSR was installed. The easiest way to update FSR (if you haven’t already started configuring your sites and offers) is to simply clear the previous files and database, re-upload, and re-install. If you have already started working on your sites, you can upload the files directly over the existing ones, but you’ll need to make a few changes to some files. I will most likely need to assist you through this process, so contact me on AIM or e-mail support@fsrevolution.com.
The ability to add a site to the same domain on which FSR is installed now exists as well. Please note that this will count towards your site limit. You may either create the domain from scratch, or import from IRS or RAFS. Support for FSRS import is coming soon.
As always, please contact support if you have any problems. Please try to be as patient as possible, though, as there are many issues to work through, and I’m the only person available to provide support.
Thanks and good luck!
